3. Go Daddy Hosting: GoDaddy is the largest web hosting service provider, and the giant in domain registration. We have ranked Go Daddy #3 based on size and competitive prices. Recent improvements in the proprietary user interface has improved webmaster satisfaction. No CPanel and No Fantastico.
4. StartLogic Hosting: With the slogan "real people, real service, real savings", StartLogic has grown rapidly to become a mid-size web hosting provider service. Vdeck control panel, shared and dedicated hosting packages.
5. HostMonster Web Hosting Service: On our previous list, HostMonster ranked under the top 10, but as an up and coming web host. Now ranked in the top 10 web hosts on Web Hosting Reviews and News, HostMonster has come of age. Affiliated with BlueHost's founder, HostMonster has a reputation for good customer service, and has grown to be one of the top 10 largest web hosting services.
6. Yahoo! Web Hosting: A growing product of the Internet giant Yahoo. Yahoo! advertises reliability and tools for web site building, although experienced webmasters do not necessarily need those tools. Yahoo Hosting is among the top 5 largest web hosting providers.
7. LunarPages Web Hosting: Good customer service, CPanel Control Panel and Fantastico script library for easy website installation. A recent addition to the Top 10 web hosts list.
8. iPowerWeb Hosting: iPowerWeb remains among the top 10 largest web hosting service providers, and was one of the original pioneers of multiple domain hosting on a single hosting plan. Before then, typically there was just one domain per account. iPowerWeb and its affiliated companies host over 1,000,000 websites. Over 90% of users choose Linux hosting on shared and dedicated hosting plans.
9. PowWeb Hosting: Another senior hoster in the shared hosting market, PowWeb was founded in 1999. Unlimited web hosting plan available.
10. IX Web Hosting: A mid-sized service provider, IX Web Hosting offers low-priced entry plans. Although CPanel is not offered, the HSpace control panel is comparable to use. Fantastico provided.
11. 1&1 Hosting: 1&1 or 1and1 Web Hosting is one of the top 3 web hosting providers, and the largest in many European countries. Low priced web hosting packages offered and 1&1 is among the least expensive domain name registrars as well. Is expected to move up on the Top Web Hosting list due to large size, price and improving customer service.
12. FatCow Hosting: The moooo better web host :) Fat Cow Hosting is a growing web hosting service provider, with a reputation for customer service. Fantasico offered. No CPanel.
13. Omnis Network: A mid-size web host, with entry level plans. Custom Control Panel provided at the time of this review, so if you are accustomed to CPanel, there is some learning involved. Fantastico provided.
14. Network Solutions: Among the pioneers in the domain registration and web hosting businesses. Among the largest hosting service providers, but with decreasing market share from previous years. Typically is considered more expensive than the others and they have a proprietary user interface that requires learning. Included in this list based on size, and reputation particularly for corporate users.
